Death Toll Among Romanian Babies Injured In Explosion Rises To Five
Grigore Alexandrescu hospital spokesperson Raluca Alexandrescu told MEDIAFAX the baby who died had burns covering 70% of its body. She stressed that the baby’s state of health was bad.
Romanian prosecutors started a criminal investigation into the accident to determine the people responsible for the tragedy. The Bucharest mayoralty said in a press release Wednesday that the management of the Giulesti maternity hospital was suspended until the investigation into the accident is completed.
