Traffic Jam On Romania’s National Road DN 1

Road traffic on national road DN 1, namely on Bucharest-Brasov route, was jammed Saturday at noon as thousands of cars lined up on a distance of more than 10 kilometers between Comarnic and Busteni locations in Romania’s central-southern county of Prahova.

Thousands of tourists are heading for the mountain resorts in area of Prahova Valley to spend the rest of the winter holidays there.

According to police officers with the Road Traffic Supervision Department in Sinaia mountain resort, traffic on national road DN 1 gets bulky from Comarnic location where the road narrows into one traffic lane.
