"The context on the market has made impossible the attendance of certain bands that organizers find relevant for young audiences in Romania. Therefore, after a year-and-a-half’s work, organizers decided to cancel this year’s festival instead of compromising the CokeLive music experience," Coca-Cola said in a statement.
“The decision was thoroughly analyzed. Since the launch of CokeLive, our goal has been to make it one of the most important festivals in Romania. However, unexpectedly, the context on the international music market has changed this year and we prefer to cancel the entire project as it risked being below our standards," said Elena Serban, Coca-Cola Brand Manager for Romania and Moldova.
