Romanian Highways Upkeep To Cost Over RON330M In 2009-2012

The biggest sum, RON195.51 million, VAT not included, will be used for the maintenance of the about 150 kilometers of the Bucharest-Cernavoda highway. The road authority assigned RON134.87 million for the maintenance of 100 kilometers of the Bucharest – Pitesti highway and nearly 14 kilometers of the Pitesti ring road.

The road authority will organize two public auctions to award the two contracts and procedures are set to start on September 1.
