Two Dead, Seven Injured Following Dolj County Crash

Two children were seriously injured in the accident and found unconscious on the site. They were later sent to a hospital, following CPR attempts.

Five other adults are also hospitalized, while two adults, a man and a woman, died from injuries suffered in the crash.

Dolj Police representatives announced that initial investigations showed that the cause of the crash is most probably an illegal overtake attempt made by one of the vehicles, in low visibility conditions.

The crash happened near the town of Bailesti, Dolj county. Traffic in the area was closed on Monday afternoon in order to allow for further police investigations.
