Police arrested the first Romanian suspect Thursday night after raiding a Paphos apartment used as a brothel, while the other Romanian suspect was arrested Saturday.

The first suspect is believed to be one of the men responsible for introducing clients to a 20-year-old Romanian prostitute, who claims her Hungarian pimp and boyfriend had forced her to have sex with clients since March.

The cited source said officers entered the premises and found a 20-year-old Romanian woman after a police informer had paid for sex.

The Romanian suspects escorted the informant to the brothel and are accused of arranging the sex for cash deal with the Hungarian.

The prostitute is currently under police protection, while the three suspects remained in policy custody for eight days.

Police officers are also investigating other premises in Paphos, also believed to be brothels.
