Romanian Meteorologists Widen Code Yellow Warning For 23 Counties

Meteorologists warned against strong winds, lightning, occasional hail and newly formed torrents and streams. In mountainous regions, as well as in Romanian regions of Crisana, Maramures and Transylvania, water volume is expected to exceed 25-30 liters per square meter and even 40 liters per square meter in certain areas.

 

The warning issued Tuesday is an update to the warning issued by the Romanian meteorologists Monday, valid between Monday, 16.00 local time, until Tuesday, 9.00 local time, for five counties.
