In January 2008, Romania produced 24,927 vehicles and exported 12,897 vehicles.
Cars accounted for over 90% of the total (8,775 units) in January, but the number of cars made dropped 63.8%.
Romania made 707 commercial vehicles in January, up 6.3% compared to January last year, but no buses, the same as in January last year.
Exports were dominated by cars, which accounted for over 90% (8,242 units) of the total, but the number of din total, but the number of cars exported dropped 35.8%.
