The jet is worth nearly EUR70,000 and belongs to Fly Level Company, owned by Romanian businessman Silviu Prigoana.

Although lightly injured, the two passengers were taken to Bucharest’s Floreasca Emergency Hospital to undergo special treatment.

Mircea Ciuca, head of the investigation commission within the Transports Ministry, said the cause of the incident would be settled following a thorough investigation.

According to Prigoana, pilot Teodor Trandafir wanted to test the jet before buying it, stressing the incident was caused by incorrect flying maneuvers.

Prigoana said there was no actual accident, but an incident with no victims.
