It said Romanian nationals will be free to work in Denmark without having to apply for work permits, similar as Danish nationals or any other citizens in the EU bloc.
However, companies that hire workers for the Danish market must enroll in the Denmark’s Register for Foreign Service Providers – RUT, the agency noted.
In January, Romanian Labor Ministry announced that the Danish authorities decided to lift labor restrictions for Romanian and Bulgarian nationals starting with May 1, as the number of workers from the two countries has not posed a threat for local workers.
