Germany Keeps Restrictions For Romanian Workers, Extends Stay Period For Temps
At the Informal Employment and Social Affairs Council held in the Czech Republic between January 22 and January 23, the Romanian Labor Minister Marian Sarbu had talks with his German counterpart Olaf Scholz on lifting restrictions imposed on Romanian workers in Germany after 2009.
The German authorities decided to grant a series of facilities for certain labor categories, but maintained the general restrictions concerning the country’s labor market, Scholz said.
