Romania’s Feb Indus Sales Up 5.1% On Yr

Romania’s industrial sales rose 5.1% on the year in February due to 27.4% growth in the energy sector and 2.1% hike in the manufacturing sector, the National Institute of Statistics, or INS, said Friday.

Output in the mining sector dropped 0.1% on the year in February.

Romania’s industrial sales rose 9.5% on the month in February due to higher results in all the manufacturing sector.

The energy sector sales was down 6.8% on the month in February, the mining sector sales were down 1.6%, while manufacturing sales hiked 13.5%.
