The prime minister asked the economy and finance minister to draft a program aimed at lowering CO2 emissions resulted from the heating of public administration buildings.
Tariceanu also asked the Ministries of Environment and Transport to draft a program to align to EU recommendations the car parks of central and local public administrations, government agencies and state-owned companies.
Tariceanu added pollutant cars used in public administration need to be replaced with more environmental-friendly cars.
Tariceanu had a similar request last week, when he asked the Ministries of Environment and Finance to introduce energy efficiency norms for public administration buildings and car parks.
