Romanian AVAS Recovers RON72.58M Debts In 1H

AVAS executed a number of 43,000 debtors.

The most important debts were cashed from the Cluj branch of Romanian Railway Company, or CFR, namely RON5.09 million, and from state-owned electricity producer Termoelectrica, totaling RON4.35 million.

The bulk, or RON40 million, was cashed from the National Insurance Department.

AVAS also recovered RON17.16 million debts by valuing banking assets, and RON1-0.47 from commercial receivables.

The authority also cashed RON4.87 million worth of debts from Ministry of Finance.
