British Indie Rockers Air Traffic To Play Romanian Stufstock Festival Aug 14
Just three years old, Air Traffic has had a spectacular evolution with European and United States tours and thousands of fans. The band confirmed it will play the sixth edition of Romania’s Stufstock.
The band launched its debut album “Fractured Life” about one year ago and reached number 42 in the UK Albums Chart.
The video for the band’s single "No More Running Away", launched on Sept 24, 2007, was filmed in Romania.
The band consists of singer/pianist Chris Wall, David Ryan Jordan – drums, Tom Pritchard – guitar and bassist Jim Maddock. The band’s name originates from when they used to practice next to a runway at Hurn Airport, where air traffic control signals could be picked up on their amplifiers.
Other confirmed Stufstock headliners include dEUS, Apocalyptica and Kultur Shock.
Organizers have still to announce the complete list of concerts and ticket prices.
Stufstock festival is an event initiated by the “Save Vama Veche” movement, which became the Association for the Preservation of Protected Bio-Cultural Areas after the festival’s first edition.
