In 2003, the European Commission set up an online database regarding gender balance in decision-making positions in fields such as politics, public administration, justice, business, finance or in non-governmental organizations. The survey conducted by the Labor Ministry’s Department of Equal Opportunities for Men and Women is meant to update the database’s public administration section.
