Ultimii 2 ani au fost dificili pentru cinematografia americană din cauza pandemiei de coronavirus. Dar vaccinarea globală şi măsurile de combatere a pandemiei par să dea rezultate pozitive având în vedere că cinematografiile încep să se redeschidă, iar filmul Spider-Man: No Way Home a încasat peste 1 miliard de dolari. Multe filme spectaculoase şi mult aşteptate ce au fost amânate din cauza pandemiei vor fi lansate în 2022, care se anunţă a fi cu adevărat bogat.
