The mayor’s office in Spanish locality Miranda de Ebro (Burgos province) decreed three days of mourning when a fire occurring Thursday in a home resulted in the death of four Romanians, Europa Press informed online.

An oil tank at Romania’s Rompetrol Rafinare (RRC.RO), the refining unit of the country's second-largest oil company Rompetrol Group NV, caught fire Wednesday afternoon, but no victims were reported.

Eight children were injured in a blaze that started in Romanian Neamt county commune Girov, in a home. The children were taken to the Piatra Neamt Emergency county hospital.

Five children in western Romanian locality Belint, Timis county, wound up in the hospital Thursday night, with sever burns, as the house they lived in blew up then caught fire because one of the children threw a bottle of fuel into the stove.
