Romania’s Senate rejected on Monday two bills which regulate civil partnership, including for same-sex couples.

Two draft bills meant to regulate civil partnership in Romania were rejected on Tuesday by the Senate’s judicial committee, with ruling coalition senators voting against the initiative as unjustified.

The Judicial Committee of Romania’s Senate rejected on Tuesday a bill which would regulate civil partnership in the country, initiated by unaffiliated MP Oana Bizgan.
