Romania's construction output fell 15.1% in adjusted data in September compared with the same month a year earlier, with decreases in all sectors, the National Institute for Statistics said Monday.

Romanian construction output rose 16.5% on the month in June, the biggest increase in the European Union, official data showed Wednesday.

Romanian construction output rose 2.9% on the month in November last year, the third-highest increase in the European Union, official data showed Tuesday.

Romania ranks second in the European Union by first quarter growth in construction output, with a growth rate of 32.2% compared to the first quarter in 2007, according to the EU statistical office Eurostat.
