Court Confirms FIFA Decision, Dismisses Appeal Of Romanian Player Adrian Mutu

The Court of Arbitration for Sport on Friday said it dismissed the appeal filed by Romanian football player Adrian Mutu against the decision rendered by FIFA’s Dispute Resolution Chamber of 7 May 2008 obligating Mutu to pay EUR17 million in compensation to Chelsea FC for breach of contract.
