The International Monetary Fund Friday approved the disbursement of approximately EUR900 million to Romania, following a new review of the country’s performance under a EUR13 billion standby agreement.

The International Monetary Fund will most likely defer a third loan disbursement of EUR1.5 billion to Romania for January next year, people close to the matter told MEDIAFAX Friday.
