Reputed Romanian journalist Sorin Rosca Stanescu said, on his personal website, that the Romanian president’s brother, Mircea Basescu, is allegedly involved in an explosives trafficking business alongside an alleged terrorism affiliation suspect named Bakri Imad Abdul Reda.

The two people reported missing Tuesday afternoon following a blast at explosives maker Nitramonia Fagaras, central Romania, are feared dead, but investigators declined to make an official statement in this respect.
