Romania will decide in the next period if taking or not the external loan from the IMF and the E.U., and a conclusion will be drawn after the negotiations in which the country will be represented by the Finance Ministry and the central bank, President Traian Basescu said Friday.

Romania’s Government will negotiate an external financing package with the European Union, based on a stand-by agreement with the International Monetary Fund, in order to rebuild trust and meet its obligations, according to the Economist Intelligence Unit, or EIU.
