About 70% of tourists who bought holiday packs at the Holiday Market tourism fair, which took place between March 17 and 20 in Bucharest, chose foreign destinations, Romania’s National Agency of Tour Operators (ANAT) said in a press release Monday.

Romanian tourism minister Elena Udrea will attend, between May 5 and 8 the international tourism fair Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, with the purpose of persuading Arabian businesspeople to invest in Romanian tourism, said a press release issued by the Ministry of Tourism.

Romanian writers Nicolae Manolescu and Eugen Negrici will attend a roundtable, organized within the Paris Book Fair, regarding their recently launched books, "Istoria critica a literaturii romane" (A critical history of Romanian literature), and respectively "Iluziile literaturii romane."

Over 600 Romanians took part in the information campaign and job fair organized by the Romanian Labor Ministry in Alcala de Henares, Spain, the ministry said.
