Romanian Marin Cioroianu, a former legionnaire in the Foreign Legion, accused of involvement in the killing of the elder son of the President of the Republic of Chad, was turned in to French authorities late Wednesday on the Henri Coanda international airport near Bucharest.

The Romanian Supreme Court ruled Wednesday to extradite to France Romanian citizen Marin Cioroianu, a former legionnaire in the Foreign Legion, accused of involvement in the killing of the elder son of the President of the Republic of Chad.
