The European Court of Justice ruled against France Tuesday for failing to transpose into national legislation all the provisions regarding the free circulation of Romanian and Bulgarian citizens, whose countries joined the European Union in 2007, AFP reported.

Switzerland’s former justice minister, far-rightist Christoph Blocher, might propose the organization of a referendum against the expansion of the agreement on free movement for Bulgaria and Romania, according to a well-known Swiss journalist, quoted by swissinfo.org.
