Romanian car maker will begin making automatic transmission cars in the next several months, most likely in the beginning of next year. The new type of gearbox will be available as option for passenger cars, Renault Technologie Roumanie manager Philippe Prevel told MEDIAFAX.

French carmaker Renault Tuesday opened a gearbox plant on the platform of its local division Dacia in Mioveni, southern Romania.
