Romania's Chamber of Deputies Tuesday adopted the articles of the draft law allowing the Government to issue decrees during the Parliament recess, in sectors stipulated in the country’s Constitution, including the budget revision field, and a final vote will be cast on Thursday.

The 25% salary slash included in the Romanian Government's spending cut plan will also affect the employees of the country’s central bank, the National Securities Commission, private pension fund regulator CSSPP and insurance regulator CSA.
