One Romanian 16-year old school boy died, Friday afternoon, after fighting with a schoolmate in the central park of the locality Strehaia. The two argued because the victim made fun of the aggressor’s stutter.

Children of Romanian citizens working legally in EU states can receive the equivalent of the state allowance granted in the country where their parents are working, but the number of requests is low at the moment, Theodora Bertzi, secretary of state within the Ministry of Labor, told MEDIAFAX Friday.

The Bucharest School Inspectorate recommended to teachers not to give students any homework during the vacation, since kids in the seventh and eighth grade have a great deal to study for the midterm exams organized as soon as classes are resumed, namely starting with May 6.
