Lawyers of self-suspended vice-president of the Romanian Central Commission of Referees, Marcel Lica, on Thursday submitted to the Arges Court a request for Lica's release on bail, who in custody for 29 days on charges of corruption.

Romania’s Constitutional Court on Tuesday ruled as unconstitutional the provisions of Law 356/2006 limiting the right of attorneys to participate in criminal investigations conducted by prosecutors.
