Over 100 employees of Romanian vaccine producer Cantacuzino Institute Thursday staged a spontaneous protest over the Health Ministry's intention to lay off employees after several production departments were closed down.

About 11,000 employees of the National Railroad Company (CFR) are to be fired, according to data presented Wednesday to the unionists by the representatives of the Transports Ministry.
