Romania's Regional Development Minister Daniel Suciu said on Friday, during a meeting with mayors in Dolj county, that a new proposed Administration Code will be adopted either by emergency decree or government liability in the near future.

The Romanian Senate will discuss, with urgency, the legislative initiative regarding the fiscal liability law, and Senate Chairman Mircea Geoana asked dismissed Prime Minister Emil Boc to state a stance in the matter within three days.

Romanian prime minister Calin Tariceanu said he wants a new law on minister liability that would make the ministers more responsible, but which does not leave the ministers “at the hands of political abuse” by the presidency.
