Romania’s Transport and Interior Ministries have drawn up a draft act whereby special licenses for cargo transport that allow the overloading of trucks will be scrapped as of April 30 and will only be kept for freight transports exceeding the standard allowed weight and for undividable goods.

Romania’s Transport Ministry secretary of state, Eusebiu Pistru, on Thursday said there will be drafted methodological norms whereby certified driving instructors will be licensed, to allow harsher checkups on driving instructors and force them to pay all taxes to the state budget.
