Romania’s Supreme Court rejected on Wednesday the proposal of preventive arrest issued for prosecutors Gheorghe Dumitru and Eugen Cojocaru, together with notary public Gheorghe Bucur, involved in defrauding the contest to fill in top prosecutor and judge positions.

Romania’s justice minister Tudor Chiuariu and his Italian counterpart Clemente Mastella will sign Saturday in Benevento (near Naples) the first collaboration agreement regarding liaison magistrates of the two countries.
