Romanian meteorologists extended until Wednesday morning the code yellow rainfall alert valid for the northern and the northeastern parts of the country.

Romanian meteorologists on Saturday issued a code yellow warning forecasting snow and blizzards in southern and southwestern Romania on Sunday, between 3 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Romanian authorities issued a yellow code warning for rain and storm valid from Tuesday at 6pm until Friday at 9am local time, according to the meteorologists’ website.

Romanian meteorologists on Wednesday issued a code yellow warning for hot weather, valid from Thursday afternoon until Saturday for 33 counties, where temperatures could go above 38 degrees Celsius and the thermal discomfort will exceed the critical threshold.

Heavy rains, windstorms and hail prompted Romanian meteorologists to extend a yellow code warning to 23 counties, valid Tuesday, from 10:00 to 21:00 local time.
