Works on the Baseasa passage in Romania’s capital city Bucharest were completed and the passage was opened for traffic Friday.

The Romanian State Inspectorate for Constructions (ISC) filed criminal complaints against four people involved in the control of works at the Bucharest Baneasa passage, including the site foreman from the National Roads Company, following the incident occurring Friday where three workers died.

Representatives of construction company Astaldi said Friday works on the Basarab Passage in Bucharest are 30-35% complete, and construction will be started for the pillars on both sides of the river Dambovita in the next two weeks.
