Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc and Pope Benedict XVI had a short meeting on Wednesday, part of his two-day official visit to Italy.

Pope Benedict XVI on Wednesday morning will meet Romanian Premier Calin Popescu Tariceanu, before the latter’s scheduled meeting with his Italian counterpart Romano Prodi, ministry sources told MEDIAFAX.
