The first Romanian spacecraft and the equipment needed for its launch will be unloaded Friday on a Military Navy ship by officials of the Aeronautics and Cosmonautics Romanian Association (ARCA), with preparations for the launch scheduled to begin next week.

The budget that the Romanian Government gave Bucharest City Hall for the organization of the NATO summit, between April 2 and 4 reached some EUR3.7 million, according to Bucharest general mayor Adriean Videanu.

Some 90 Russian specialists arrived Thursday on the Otopeni Airport in Bucharest, on board a special flight, their mission being to prepare the highly anticipated visit of Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Bucharest, official sources told MEDIAFAX.
