The Romanian Government has approved the principles which will be the base of the new unitary public pension system, deciding that the principle of mandatory occupational pensions be regulated by the Private Pension Supervision Commission (CSPP).

The Romanian electoral code committee adopted the fundamental principles of the law on the uninominal voting system, as well as a large part of the articles in the law. The only matters left to discuss are the provisions regarding the electoral threshold and the manner of mandate attribution.
