Romanian MP Calls For Urgent Measures On Criminal Probes Against Ministers

Senator Gheorghe Funar, member of the Greater Romania Party, or PRM, urges the government to repeal law no. 115/ 1999 to allow the Prosecutors’ Office and the National Anticorruption Department, or DNA, to start criminal probes against the ministers committing criminal acts, which means that Romania’s President will no longer have to interfere on the matter.
