Romania’s Prime Minister Emil Boc said Sunday he will set up a system monitoring EU fund absorption and public investments, adding that the ministers and prefects who will not “fight to get each penny” granted by EU will “leave”.

The European Commission will release Tuesday its interim reports on Romania and Bulgaria’s justice sectors, Bulgarian news website novinite.com reported Monday, citing a Commission spokesperson.

The European Commission will present an annual report regarding Romania and Bulgaria’s progress in the fight against corruption and a separate report on the management of EU funds in the to countries, EC spokesman Mark Gray told a news conference Thursday.
