A jewelry store in Sebis, in the western Romanian county of Arad, was robbed Monday afternoon by two men wearing ski masks who beat the shop assistant and tied her to a pipe.

Unidentified people stole on Tuesday evening part of the equipment of Russia’s national rugby team from the Bucharest hotel where the team is accommodated, according to sources in the Romanian Rugby Federation.
