Romanian gymnast Diana Chelaru on Sunday won the silver medal in floor exercise at the 2010 Artistic Gymnastics World Championship in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Romanian Ana Maria Branza won Olympic silver in the epee fencing final after being defeated by German Britta Heidemann, 11-15.

The Romanian women’s gymnastics team won five medals, two gold, two silver and one bronze, within the European Gymnastics Championship concluded Sunday in Clermont-Ferrand (France).
