A Romanian crew member is on board the Greek-owned bulk carrier Eleni P, seized by Somali pirates in the Gulf of Aden, Greek manager of the ship’s owner Markos Vassilikos said Wednesday, cited by AFP.

The Somali pirates who have captured the Asian Glory ship, which also had two Romanians in its crew, allegedly demand a record $15 million ransom to release the ship, according to Ukrainian intelligence sources quoted by the Bulgarian News Agency.

All 11 Romanian sailors aboard the ship Victoria, flying an Antiguan flag, were kidnapped Tuesday evening by Somali pirates in the Aden Gulf.
