Romanian police in Constanta county, southeastern Romania, had to use their weapons Monday night to catch a young man caught stealing fuel from freight train wagons near a train station in the county.

The three people who allegedly stole the car of Romanian Steaua Bucharest owner Gigi Becali in January were detained by police Tuesday morning after several searches at homes in Mogosoaia, about 10 kilometers outside of Bucharest.

A criminal group specializing in theft from ATMs was caught Thursday night in the eastern Romanian county of Bacau, in an action coordinated by organized crime prosecutors with the help of the Romanian intelligence service SRI.
