An individual who called the national emergency number on and claimed to have installed sarin gas recipients at Bucharest’s International Airport and North Railway in Tuesday evening station was arrested in Ploiesti, according to the Romanian Police.

Romanian special forces were checking both the "Henri Coanda" International Airport and the North Railway Station in Bucharest on Tuesday evening, after an individual who called the national emergency number claimed that he installed recipients containing sarin gas at both locations.

Bomb squads, Police and Antiterrorism Department officers said Wednesday that the bomb threat on Timisoara Airport in western Romania was false.

Romanian anti-terrorist teams are currently checking an airplane on Timisoara International Airport, western Romania, after its captain announced there was a bomb aboard.

The new and the old buildings housing the Bucharest Court were evacuated Friday at noon after a bomb threat from a man calling off a pre-paid mobile card, said commissioner Christian Ciocan, spokesman for the Bucharest Police.
