Romania’s Government will repeal the laws regulating trousseaus for newborns and financial aid for newlyweds, according to a draft emergency decree to reduce social spending.

Romanian senators unanimously voted Monday in favor of adopting a legislative proposition which stipulates that 150 lei (EUR1=RON4.0704), the equivalent value of a newborn’s trousseau, will be granted for each and every newborn baby.
