Romania’s health minister Ion Bazac said Sunday, after he presented the outcome of the audit report regarding the national vaccination campaign against uterine cancer, that a commission of experts must be set up to renegotiate the supply contract of vaccines.

Nearly 70% of parents in Romania refused to have their daughters vaccinated against uterine cancer, the Health Ministry said Wednesday.

Family doctors in Bucharest and Ilfov, southern Romania, recommend parents to allow the vaccination of their daughters against uterine cancer, as in Europe and the United States of America 15 million women have been vaccinated and no side effects were reported.
