Romania registers 92 fatalities and 6,218 infections with the AH1N1 flu virus, as seven deaths and 41 new infections have been reported over the past 24 hours, Romania’s Health Ministry spokesperson Oana Grigore said Tuesday.

Romania has extended its swine flu vaccination campaign to people suffering from chronic illnesses because all the AH1N1-related deaths in the country occurred in patients with such illnesses, Health Ministry state secretary Adrian Streinu Cercel said Wednesday.

Romania's Health Ministry said Wednesday Romania will begin the vaccination campaign against the AH1N1 influenza virus early December.
